Humanity Protocol, LayerZero lead upcoming token unlocks worth up to $20.54 million

A new round of token unlocks is scheduled for next week, adding fresh supply for LayerZero, KAITO, Humanity Protocol, Plasma and several smaller projects, a market event traders often watch because newly released tokens can affect circulating supply and near-term price action. LayerZero is set to release about 25.71 million ZRO on July 20, equal to 2.36% of its 1 billion total supply and about 4.6% of circulating supply, with the allocation split between roughly 13 million tokens for strategic partners and about 10.63 million for core contributors. At current prices near $0.79 to $0.81, the LayerZero unlock is worth about $19.98 million, with about $10.55 million going to strategic partners and roughly $8.62 million to core contributors. The release follows a three-year vesting schedule with a one-year cliff dating back to LayerZero’s June 2024 token generation event and community airdrop. KAITO will follow with 17.6 million tokens, or 4.3% of supply, valued at $16 million. Humanity Protocol is scheduled to unlock 266 million H on July 25 worth $15.5 million, while Plasma will release 88.89 million XPL valued at $7.3 million.
