The investor-rights firm said it is preparing a prospective class action after reports linked Barclays to a 600 million pound exposure to collapsed UK mortgage lender Market Financial Solutions Ltd.
Rosen Law Firm said it is investigating potential securities claims on behalf of shareholders of Barclays PLC over allegations that the bank may have issued materially misleading business information to investors. The firm said it is preparing a class action to recover losses and told purchasers of Barclays securities they may be eligible to seek compensation through a contingency-fee arrangement without out-of-pocket fees or costs. The release points to a Feb. 27, 2026 Reuters article that said the collapse of UK mortgage provider Market Financial Solutions Ltd had unsettled lenders and that another publication reported Barclays had a 600 million pound ($809.70 million) exposure to MFS. Barclays American Depositary Shares fell 3.99% on Feb. 27, 2026 and 2.3% on March 2, 2026, according to the release.
