The LSE purchase formed part of the buy-back programme announced on 7 May 2026, with Goldman Sachs International continuing to make trading decisions independently through 24 July 2026.
Shell plc said it purchased 75,000 of its own shares for cancellation on 23 July 2026 as part of its previously announced share buy-back programme. The shares were bought on the LSE at an average price of £33.43 per share. The programme was announced on 7 May 2026, and Goldman Sachs International is making trading decisions independently of the company up to and including 24 July 2026.
