Conexon Connect selects Calix Agent Workforce Cloud to build on 79 NPS

The rural broadband provider is expanding its use of Calix’s AI-native platform to automate workflows, support growth across residential, business and MDU markets, and sustain high subscriber loyalty.

Conexon Connect, the internet service provider arm of Conexon, is using Calix Agent Workforce Cloud on the AI-native Calix One platform to support expansion across residential, business and multi-dwelling unit markets. The companies said the move is intended to automate workflows, improve operational efficiency and help drive subscriber acquisition as Conexon Connect scales rural broadband deployments. The provider has worked with Calix since 2021 and said current projects in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri are expected to deliver broadband access to nearly 500,000 rural Americans. Conexon Connect said it has paired that growth with a Net Promoter Score of 79, more than double the typical broadband industry average, and has used the Calix platform for SmartHome offerings including parental controls, secure connectivity and outdoor Wi-Fi, alongside targeted upgrade campaigns and personalized marketing. The broader Conexon business has worked with electric cooperatives across 80 markets for more than a decade to launch and deploy fiber-to-the-home networks, with nearly 50 projects now reaching 100% of members. Conexon said it has helped secure more than $2 billion in federal, state and local grants and subsidy funding for FTTH projects and has supported providers in delivering fiber internet access to more than 4 million rural Americans.
