The South Korean exchange said META2 trading is set to open July 29 at 16:30, with deposits and withdrawals enabled via the Solana network and launch timing subject to liquidity conditions.
Upbit said MetaDAO (META2) will be listed in KRW, BTC and USDT markets on July 29, with spot trading scheduled to begin at 16:30. The exchange said deposits and withdrawals would be enabled within two hours of the announcement and restricted to the Solana network, warning that transfers sent through other networks may face lengthy refund delays. Upbit also said the token will trade under the symbol META2 to distinguish it from Metadium (META), and noted the start time could be postponed if enough liquidity is not secured. MetaDAO is a Solana-based project that uses a market-based governance model, seeking to assess community proposals through price mechanisms rather than relying only on traditional DAO voting.
