Wallets tied by on-chain analysts to the June 20-21 exploit of MEV bot jaredfromsubway.eth continued converting the stolen haul into ETH on Aug. 7, including a 1,277 ETH purchase using the final 2.44 million DAI identified by Ai Yi. Separate Lookonchain tracking said the attacker had already lost 264 ETH, worth about $505,000, by selling 2,327 ETH for $3.94 million at an average of $1,695 and later spending the same amount to buy back 2,063 ETH at $1,912. The attacker used fake liquidity pools and deceptive tokens to steal around $7.7 million, after which funds began moving through Tornado Cash; the MEV bot team offered a 50% bounty and a 48-hour deadline, but no funds have been returned.
