Firmus has raised $2 billion in equity at a post-money valuation of more than $10.5 billion, extending a rapid re-rating from its $5.5 billion valuation in April. The company, which previously operated in Bitcoin mining before pivoting to data centers and AI infrastructure, said Nvidia and Coatue remained in the round, while funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities and other Blackstone vehicles, along with Jane Street, also participated. The capital will be used to accelerate Project Southgate in Australia and support early expansion into Indonesia and other Asia-Pacific markets, bringing Firmus’ total equity raised over the past year to more than $3 billion.
