Coway Co., Ltd. reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of KRW 1,442.2 billion, up 14.6% year over year, and operating profit of KRW 253.2 billion, up 4.3%. First-half revenue rose 13.9% to KRW 2,771.9 billion, while operating profit increased 11.1% to KRW 504.1 billion, marking the first time the company has exceeded KRW 500 billion in first-half operating profit. Growth was driven by overseas subsidiaries, where second-quarter revenue climbed 24.2% to KRW 587.5 billion and overseas rental accounts rose 13.2% to 4.41 million. Malaysia remained the largest overseas contributor with KRW 434.5 billion in revenue, while Thailand posted the fastest growth at 53.9%. In South Korea, second-quarter revenue increased 7.7% to KRW 786.8 billion as net rental account additions jumped 51.6% to 242,000, supported by record quarterly rental sales of 496,000 units and total domestic rental accounts of 7.72 million. Coway said demand was led by five ice water purifier models, BEREX beds and massage chairs, and newer rental categories including wall-mounted air conditioners, food waste disposers and personal low-frequency stimulators. Chief Financial Officer Kim Soon-tae said the company would focus in the second half on strengthening its premium market leadership, diversifying its product portfolio and sustaining the earnings uptrend.
