He also said Tencent HunyuanVideo 1.5's ability to stay ahead for a long time was itself impressive. MiniMax H3, described in the new update as an open-source multimodal video generation model released in August 2026, supports unified text, image, video and audio input and can generate 15-second 2K videos with native stereo sound, while ranking highly on video-editing benchmarks.
