Serbia said it will continue to support Ukraine's territorial integrity and EU bid as President Aleksandar Vucic hosted Volodymyr Zelenskyy's first visit to Belgrade since 2019, with both sides aiming to complete a free trade agreement by year-end. The long-delayed pact is important to Serbia's World Trade Organization and EU ambitions, and the talks also produced winter cooperation on infrastructure, food security and energy, including Serbia's pledge of 2 million euros ($2.3m) for Ukraine's energy sector, a new humanitarian aid package and logistics plans such as the Danube Corridor. Belgrade still refuses to sanction Russia, Ukraine still does not recognize Kosovo's 2008 independence declaration, and both sides said military cooperation was not discussed.
