A wallet labeled by PeckShield as the Aztec Private Rollup Bridge exploiter deposited another 300 ETH into Tornado Cash, worth about $572,000, bringing its cumulative transfers to the mixer to 500 ETH, or roughly $953,000 at the reported price. On-chain data shared by PeckShield showed three 100 ETH deposits. The transfers are linked to a June exploit that reportedly drained about $2.165 million from Aztec’s Private Rollup Bridge, including 1,158 ETH, 150,000 DAI and 0.47 renBTC. Aztec said the affected bridge was a legacy product unrelated to its current network and AZTEC token. The movement follows a broader pattern in which exploiters route stolen crypto through Tornado Cash, even after the U.S. Treasury removed the mixer and associated smart-contract addresses from its sanctions list in March 2025.
