BitMart founder Sheldon said the platform has not disappeared and remains at work on asset inventory, integration and system maintenance after rumors spread about a loss of contact, asset disposal and leaked internal information. Writing on X, he said users should not trust unverified claims, including information and screenshots purportedly shared by former or current employees. Sheldon said the core team is reviewing and consolidating assets while maintaining related systems so the platform can complete its next arrangements in an orderly way, with progress to be disclosed through official announcements and updates. On fund safety, he said BitMart has not misappropriated assets and has not taken steps such as withdrawing funds in advance or evading responsibility. The team is also considering bringing in judicial authorities and an independent third-party audit (external financial review) to examine the situation and publish a transparent report.
