Empery Digital sold 1,635 BTC for $102.2 million between July 1 and Aug. 6, 2026, cutting its Bitcoin holdings to 1,279 BTC, an Aug. 7 SEC filing showed. Of that total, 954 BTC remained pledged against $35 million of debt, leaving 325 BTC unrestricted, down 76% from 1,375 BTC at June 30 even after a $20 million repayment released 585 BTC of collateral. Combined with 1,167 BTC sold for $80.1 million in the first half, year-to-date sale proceeds reached $182.3 million as the Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin treasury company funded 26.24 million share buybacks for $149.7 million, reduced debt and advanced AI data-center investments including a conditional $62.1 million EMHU property commitment and a $20 million stake in Cardinal Data Power.
