Oklo reported its first quarterly revenue of $1.21 million as its Groves Isotope Test Reactor in Lockhart, Texas, reached first criticality on August 6, a milestone marking a self-sustaining nuclear chain reaction and signaling progress in the company's nuclear development program. Oklo said Groves became the first project under the U.S. Department of Energy's Reactor Pilot Program to reach that stage on private land from a greenfield site, doing so in under 11 months from site start and with substantial construction completed in 229 days. CEO Jacob DeWitte called the result "an incredible milestone for our team." The company has said Groves is intended to support its isotope business, with about 12 months of commissioning ahead before research-and-development quantities are produced, while Chief Financial Officer Craig Bealmear previously said initial isotope-business revenue was more likely to come from the NRC-licensed Idaho Radiochemistry Laboratory, potentially beginning in the first part of 2027. Oklo ended the quarter with $3 billion in cash and marketable securities, reported a net loss of $81.6 million and an operating loss of $124.2 million, and raised 2026 operating cash flow and capital expenditure guidance as it advances Aurora power projects targeted for 2028 in Idaho and early 2030 in Ohio.
