Landis+Gyr said it has expanded its Edge Application ecosystem in Australia by adding Future Grid and Operational Technology Solutions as partners, a move aimed at bringing more real-time intelligence and network reliability tools to utilities. The company said its open, scalable platform lets utilities deploy edge applications through its Revelo grid sensing platform, helping operators respond to rising grid complexity as distributed energy resources, or DER (distributed energy resources), spread across networks. Future Grid provides a SaaS platform for managing LV distribution networks in real time using AI-optimized analytics, while OTS focuses on data analytics, edge sensors and real-time systems for utilities. Landis+Gyr said the additions broaden a global partner network that already includes Sense and Mitsubishi Electric, with the company positioning the ecosystem as a way to speed deployment of advanced analytics, operational optimization and customer engagement applications in a secure utility-grade environment.
