Landis+Gyr said it expanded its Edge Application ecosystem in Australia by adding Future Grid and Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) as partners, extending its open platform for utilities as distributed energy resources (DER) add complexity to distribution networks. The company said the ecosystem lets utilities deploy app-based tools at the grid edge through its Revelo grid sensing platform for real-time optimization, analytics and operational decision-making in a secure, utility-grade environment. Future Grid was described as a SaaS platform for managing low-voltage (LV) distribution networks in real time using advanced grid intelligence and AI-optimized analytics, while OTS focuses on data analytics, edge sensors and real-time systems for utility digital transformation. Landis+Gyr said the additions broaden a global partner network that includes Sense and Mitsubishi Electric and are intended to support network reliability, intelligent-grid deployment and faster adoption of advanced applications.
