North Chemical Industries reported stronger first-half 2026 results in its Aug. 9 semi-annual report, with revenue rising 18.16% year on year to 1.34 billion yuan and net profit attributable to shareholders climbing 111.09% to 225 million yuan. The company said nitrocellulose in its Cellulose New Materials segment was the main earnings driver, while overseas revenue surged 78.85% to 307 million yuan. It also said a new 10,000-ton nitrocellulose line had fully entered construction, its pump subsidiary completed a 7,500-ton green intelligent casting line, and it planned a 296 million yuan investment in Nanchong, Sichuan province.
