Chinese manufacturers accounted for more than 97% of global humanoid robot shipments in the first half of 2026, underscoring how quickly the sector is consolidating around a handful of domestic players. Smart Analytics Global said roughly 19,100 units were shipped worldwide during the period, up nearly threefold from a year earlier. Zhiyuan Robot led the market with about 8,400 units, or 44% of the global total, ahead of Unitree at about 5,900 units. Together, the two companies supplied roughly three-quarters of worldwide shipments. The mix of demand is also shifting beyond demonstrations and research, with industrial and commercial applications accounting for more than 70% of shipments, up from about 50% a year earlier. SAG expects global humanoid robot shipments to reach about 60,000 units this year.
