Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority has granted Flowdesk Omega FZE a full broker-dealer license, allowing the firm's local entity to provide regulated services to qualified and institutional investors in and from Dubai after receiving in-principle approval in June 2026. The authorization is activity-specific and does not indicate permission to serve the general retail market. It complements Flowdesk Europe's MiCA authorization in France, effective June 30, which permits passported crypto services across eligible EU markets. ARP Digital separately received a VARA broker-dealer license to offer regulated conversions between digital assets, stablecoins and the UAE dirham to UAE corporates, capital markets participants and qualified investors. The approvals underline Dubai's model of licensing firms for selected virtual-asset activities rather than granting blanket permission, as the emirate broadens regulated institutional crypto trading alongside other entrants including Kraken and Bitpanda.
