Zhongji Innolight's H shares became the most heavily net-bought Hong Kong stock among Korean investors from July 8 to August 7, with SEIBro data showing $45.067 million of buy settlement value and $1.6729 million of sell settlement value, leaving net buys at $43.3942 million, or about HK$340 million. The shares began trading in Hong Kong on July 30 and, in just seven trading days, drew nearly four times the net buy settlement value of the second-ranked stock while accounting for almost half of the roughly $96.27 million net buying across the top 10 Hong Kong names. The H shares fell 6.94% to HK$1,033 on August 10 and the A shares dropped 6.01% to 864.58 yuan after rapid positioning that market participants linked to AI data center growth, stronger demand for optical modules and the company's role in global computing infrastructure supply chains.
