Strategy plans to resume buying Bitcoin before year-end after four tactical sales since May to fund preferred-stock dividends, share repurchases and a larger cash reserve, Chief Executive Officer Phong Le said. Le said the company bought about 175,000 BTC in 2026 and sold about 7,000 BTC, leaving it a net buyer by roughly 25 times despite pausing purchases in late June. He said proceeds from recent sales have helped lift the U.S. dollar reserve to well over $4.6 billion while supporting STRC, the preferred stock that has rebounded from the $75 range but remains below its $100 par value after closing just above $95 on Tuesday. The comments come after Le said the company had turned its focus to restoring confidence in STRC and returning the shares to par, a stance that drew criticism from some analysts and commentators because Strategy had more recently emphasized increasing Bitcoin per share as its main objective.
