Upbit, South Korea’s largest exchange, listed CYS, ICNT, XAN, EDEN, AIOZ and ALLO in its BTC and USDT markets on Monday, drawing sharply mixed trading reactions. Cysic (CYS) rose 32% even though the exchange postponed the start of trading because of liquidity issues, while Anoma (XAN) fell 38%, prompting Upbit to lower the token’s minimum sell price before launch. The uneven performance underscored how fresh exchange listings can trigger both speculative demand and market-structure stress when order books are thin.
