Upbit’s latest batch of token listings produced a fragmented market response rather than the broad rally often associated with a major exchange debut. Cysic (CYS) rose 32% around Monday’s announcement even though the exchange delayed its launch and later postponed it entirely, while Anoma (XAN) fell 38.5%, prompting Upbit to lower its minimum sell price to 0.01275 USDT before trading opened. The six newly added tokens were Cysic, Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT), Anoma, OpenEden (EDEN), AIOZ Network (AIOZ) and Allora (ALLO), all listed against Bitcoin and Tether. Trading was initially scheduled for 2 p.m. Korea time, then pushed back to 5 p.m. and later to 8 p.m. Korea time. Upbit said the CYS launch was postponed because of errors on the project’s bridge page and thin liquidity. Early trading protections applied across all six pairs, with buy orders disabled for about five minutes and only limit orders allowed for the first two hours; on XAN, sell orders more than 10% below the reference price were blocked during the first five minutes. Price action suggested traders favored tokens tied to compute infrastructure, AI and tokenized real-world assets over a simple listing premium. Cysic, which describes itself as a ComputeFi marketplace on Base, traded near $1.25, up 34% in 24 hours, with a market cap above $200 million. AIOZ Network, a DePIN (blockchain-based physical infrastructure network) project for storage, streaming and AI compute, gained nearly 20% over the day, while OpenEden, focused on tokenized U.S. Treasury products, rose 11% in 24 hours. By contrast, Impossible Cloud Network and Allora drew limited fresh demand, and Anoma failed to attract support despite the same listing exposure. The next market signal may come when CYS begins trading on Upbit, which could show whether Monday’s move reflected durable demand or listing-driven speculation.
