Pump.fun generated $10.03 million in protocol fees in Aug. 3-9, up 12% from the previous week and marking the first time its weekly total topped $10 million under its current reporting series. Ecosystem trading volume rose to $2.97 billion, the strongest week since late January, and the platform spent $5.02 million to buy back and burn 2.15 billion PUMP tokens as part of its commitment to route 50% of revenue to repurchases. DefiLlama's rolling data showed $35.67 million of Pump revenue over 30 days, ahead of Hyperliquid's $32.46 million, while PUMP traded near $0.0028 before an Aug. 12 token unlock of 6.875 billion tokens worth about $19.2 million. Pump.fun is also expanding social trading features while an unresolved U.S. lawsuit continues over alleged securities violations and other misconduct tied to tokens sold through the platform.
