WhiteHorse Finance said its second-quarter 2026 results showed a return to net asset value growth, with net asset value per share rising to $11.77 on June 30, 2026 from $11.47 at the end of March. Total investment income fell 9.4% quarter over quarter to $14.369 million, while net investment income and core net investment income declined to $4.681 million, or $0.217 per share, from $5.603 million, or $0.253 per share. Net unrealized appreciation of $5.779 million, compared with $1.563 million of depreciation in the prior quarter, helped drive a $10.409 million increase in net assets resulting from operations. The board declared a $0.25 per share distribution for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, payable on October 5 to stockholders of record on September 21, and WhiteHorse Advisers agreed to waive and reduce the incentive fee on net investment income for that next fiscal quarter to 17.50% from 20.00%. CEO Stuart Aronson said favorable portfolio markups and share repurchases below NAV supported the quarter, while the company continued to manage credit issues, deploy capital selectively and keep leverage below its target range.
