Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. said a class action lawsuit has been filed against Microvast Holdings, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Microvast securities between April 1, 2025 and March 16, 2026. The law firm said investors have until September 21, 2026 to ask the court to be appointed lead plaintiff. The complaint alleges Microvast overstated its ability to improve margins through a strategic shift away from low-margin segments and overstated its ability to complete the Huzhou Phase 3.2 manufacturing expansion in Huzhou, China, by the end of 2025. Plaintiff alleges the company failed to disclose inventory management issues and delays in commercial vehicle rollouts by customers that undermined those targets. The filing points to March 16, 2026, when Microvast reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results and said gross margin declined from 2024, primarily because of a $32.5 million inventory impairment charge tied to specialized ESS components, after which the stock fell.
