NAVER D2SF has made its third investment in NdotLight, joining a KRW 15 billion funding round, worth about $10.6 million, led by Korea Development Bank as the startup expands data infrastructure for physical AI. NdotLight's TRINIX platform uses its proprietary 3D engine to generate simulation-ready datasets with physical attributes such as mass, friction, joint structures and collision boundaries, and connects with NVIDIA Omniverse to supply large-scale data for simulation-based learning. The company said it already provides AI training data to humanoid robot and robot foundation model developers including Holiday Robotics, AeiROBOT, Robros and RealWorld, while also participating in physical AI projects involving Hyundai Motor and LG Electronics. NAVER D2SF said it sees the technology as a way to address a core data bottleneck in physical AI, and the new funding will support hiring while the two sides explore broader collaboration.
