CyberLogitec said it has signed a contract with Incheon Global Container Terminal to provide the Terminal Operating System for Phase 1-2 of the Incheon New Port automated container terminal in South Korea. The project, aimed at a 2028 commercial opening, is described as the first fully automated container terminal at Incheon Port and the first container terminal in South Korea to adopt a hybrid layout structure. CyberLogitec plans to deploy its OPUS Terminal software as a unified platform covering berth, vessel, yard and gate operations, with links to automated equipment control systems and real-time operational data to support planning and field execution. The terminal is designed around Double-Trolley Quayside Container Cranes, Automated Rail-Mounted Gantry Cranes and Automated Guided Vehicles, with the goal of automating processes across the site to improve efficiency and productivity. IGCT, the operating company, is a joint venture of Hanjin Logistics, Sun Kwang, E1, KMTC and HMM, with equity participation from the Incheon Port Authority. CyberLogitec said the deal reflects recognition of its automation and equipment integration experience, and added that it plans to use that track record to expand further in domestic and global smart port markets.
