MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation said on Aug. 11, 2026 that it has opened an expanded facility in Newark, California, for MiTAC Computing Technology USA Corporation, adding local engineering, testing, customer engagement and after-sales support as it expands its U.S. infrastructure footprint. The site is built around four functions: a New Product Introduction (NPI) unit for air- and liquid-cooling rack-scale systems, an engineering lab for end-to-end hardware and software validation for enterprise AI and cloud workloads, a Customer Experience Center for hyperscale and enterprise clients, and a service center for post-deployment support and lifecycle management. Raymond Huang, General Manager of MiTAC Computing Technology USA Corporation, said the expansion is intended to strengthen MiTAC's U.S. presence and speed time-to-market for next-generation data center infrastructure by pairing local engineering, validation and failure analysis with its manufacturing base. The opening ceremony brought together Newark officials, customers and industry partners, with sponsors including AMD, Micron, SanDisk, TDS and D&H.
