U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted a total net outflow of $61.1637 million on Aug. 12, reversing the modest net inflows reported for Aug. 11. SoSoValue data showed Fidelity's FBTC recorded the largest single-day withdrawal at $46.8221 million, followed by BlackRock's IBIT at $14.3416 million. Despite the daily redemptions, FBTC's cumulative historical net inflows stood at $9.945 billion and IBIT's at $61.157 billion. As of publication, total net assets across spot Bitcoin ETFs were $77.369 billion, equivalent to 6.06% of Bitcoin's market capitalization, while cumulative historical net inflows for the category reached $51.977 billion. The move highlights how daily ETF flows can swing even as the broader U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market remains substantial in size.
