LG CNS plans to launch a separately branded blockchain service for the stablecoin ecosystem in September, offering wallets, transaction processing, fee sponsorship and blockchain data management as it positions for growth in stablecoins and other digital assets. Speaking at the Injective Institutional Luncheon Forum in Seoul, Lee Jeong-hwa, head of blockchain at LG CNS, said wallets are core infrastructure in the stablecoin market and that wallets and on- and off-ramps connected to financial services are likely to become a key competitive area as adoption expands. LG CNS has also said it built technical experience in CBDC and deposit tokens through the Bank of Korea's Project Hangang, where it tested multiple on-chain settlement models.
