Kkednnara has reappointed Chairman Choi Hyun-soo as chief executive eight months after he left the post, restoring him to management alongside CEO Lee Dong-yul under a new co-CEO structure. The company said its board approved the appointment at a meeting on the 11th. Choi, who resigned as CEO last year when he became chairman, will oversee business divisions as well as finance and procurement, with a mandate to connect strategy, finance and purchasing more closely to improve profitability and personally lead key management work tied to new growth drivers. Lee will remain responsible for the Cheongju plant and human resources, focusing on production efficiency, plant competitiveness and stronger execution across the organization and the factory floor. Kkednnara said the dual leadership model is designed to clarify accountability, speed decision-making and ensure headquarters strategy is carried through to operations as the company tries to turn its mid- to long-term growth direction into concrete results.
