Zama has made its native token, ZAMA, available on Revolut in the European Economic Area, widening distribution of the privacy-focused crypto project through a mainstream fintech platform with more than 70 million users globally, including more than 15 million crypto users. Revolut customers in the region can buy and hold ZAMA in the main app without opening another account or completing additional identity checks, and can also withdraw the token to self-custody wallets because Revolut supports onchain transfers there. Trading fees start at zero in Revolut’s main app, according to Zama, which also said it plans to launch a Learn & Earn campaign inside Revolut later this year. The listing follows Zama’s February token launch through a sealed-bid Dutch auction on Ethereum that processed more than $121 million using fully homomorphic encryption, or FHE, and comes after recent confidential DeFi deployments including a Morpho-based cUSDC vault developed with Steakhouse Financial. Zama says its technology allows balances, transaction amounts and financial positions to remain encrypted while smart contracts continue to process the data on public blockchains.
