Hyperscale Data said it and wholly owned subsidiaries Sentinum and Ault Capital Group held 961.2678 Bitcoin valued at about $62.3 million as of Aug. 9 and made no purchases or sales between Aug. 3 and Aug. 9, signaling a Bitcoin treasury strategy as the company weighs strategic options for its Michigan AI and high-performance computing data center. The board's review includes a sale or lease of part or all of the asset, a strategic investment, a joint venture, continued ownership and development, a separation into an independent company, or other steps aimed at increasing stockholder value. The process follows a long-term Master Services Agreement signed by indirect subsidiary Alliance Cloud Services, LLC with a California-based neocloud provider for an initial deployment of about 20 megawatts of AI compute capacity that the company says should generate about $1.2 billion in contractual value over the term; if expanded to about 52 megawatts, total contract value could exceed $3.0 billion. The review adds to Hyperscale Data's previously disclosed plan to divest Ault Capital Group in 2027 through an exchange tied to its Series F Exchangeable Preferred Stock, after which the company has said it expects to operate as a data center owner focused on high-performance computing and as a holder of digital assets.
