DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng recorded the fastest rise in wealth among the world's billionaires over the past year, with an annual increase of 3,850%, according to a ranking published by overseas financial research firm BestBrokers using Forbes' real-time billionaire data. The list said Liang's net worth rose from $1 billion in 2025 to $39.5 billion by the 2026 measurement point, or from about 6.755 billion yuan to roughly 266.837 billion yuan, lifting him by nearly 40 times in a year and into the global top 50 richest people. Positions two through eight were all occupied by members of the Anthropic founding team, each posting 1,191.67% wealth growth. Several Chinese entrepreneurs also appeared in the top 10, including Wang Weixiu of Zhongji Xuchuang, Cai Huabo of Changxin Memory Technologies, and Zou Zhinong of ZTE.
