MEXC published a survey-based report saying trading in traditional assets is increasingly moving onto crypto exchanges, with 74.2% of respondents from a traditional finance background having shifted some or all of that activity to crypto platforms. The report, based on 6,185 responses across 13 languages, said 83.3% of all respondents plan to increase their traditional asset trading volume on crypto exchanges, suggesting the migration trend is still building. Among users with traditional finance backgrounds, 16.5% are considering a move and 9.2% said they will continue using traditional platforms. The report said dissatisfaction with limited trading hours and high fees at brokerages was the biggest driver, while 24/7 access and lower costs were the main attractions of crypto exchanges. It also found 69.2% of respondents had missed trading opportunities because traditional markets were closed, and 73.3% said they had used futures on crypto exchanges to establish positions before traditional markets opened.
