U.S. stocks traded mixed on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones index up about 150 points, while Quantum Corp led a slate of gainers after reporting first-quarter results that beat Wall Street expectations and issuing second-quarter guidance above estimates. Quantum posted adjusted earnings of 18 cents per share, compared with market expectations for a 17-cent-per-share loss, on sales of $80.803 million versus estimates of $75.050 million. Its shares jumped 44% to $16.96. Other notable movers included NIQ Global Intelligence PLC, up 29.7% to $15.15 after better-than-expected second-quarter results and higher FY26 guidance, and Rapid7 Inc, which gained 23.3% to $14.32 on upbeat second-quarter earnings. Kopin Corp rose 22.1% to $5.14 after stronger-than-expected quarterly sales, while Fermi Inc added 18.3% to $6.96 after signing its first binding 15-year lease agreement with TensorWave. Alamar Biosciences Inc also gained 18.3% to $33.12 after upbeat quarterly earnings, and Mistras Group Inc climbed 16.5% to $18.41 following strong quarterly results. Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Inc advanced 14.8% to $10.23 after better-than-expected quarterly financial results, Sea Ltd rose 12.5% to $129.12 after topping quarterly sales estimates, and Renew Energy Global PLC gained 11.2% to $6.82 after agreeing to go private in a cash deal at $7.02 per share with its CEO and CPP Investments. Riot Platforms Inc rose 9.2% to $21.19 after upbeat second-quarter sales, while Bending Spoons SpA, Cipher Digital Inc, Archer Aviation Inc and Aramark also posted solid gains.
