LPL Financial used Aug. 11-12 sessions at its Focus 2026 conference in San Diego to outline a wealth-management strategy built on technology, human expertise, integrated capabilities and broader research support for advisors. Executives including CEO Rich Steinmeier, Chief Wealth Officer Aneri Jambusaria, President and Chief Financial Officer Matt Audette, Chief Investment Officer Marc Zabicki and Chief Growth Officer Marc Cohen said AI-powered workflows, service modernization and an integrated platform are intended to help advisors grow efficiently while preserving independence across business models. LPL said its Model Wealth Portfolios platform has grown to more than $200 billion and that minimums will fall to $1,000 later in 2026; it also cited nearly 110 alternative-investment strategies, continued development of its Secured Credit Account securities-backed lending product, and more than $300 billion in high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth assets on the platform. The firm said it supports more than 32,000 financial advisors, about 1,100 financial institutions and approximately $2.6 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets for about 8 million Americans, and that 10,000 clients and partners attended the conference.
