Pomerantz LLP said a securities class action has been filed against Wix.com Ltd. and certain officers on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Wix securities between February 19, 2025 and May 12, 2026. The complaint, filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois under docket number 26-cv-08852, alleges Wix overstated the competitiveness and performance of its AI-powered products, understated the costs of developing and promoting those offerings, and in turn exaggerated their commercial and financial benefits. The suit points to a series of disclosures and analyst actions that it says revealed mounting pressure on Wix’s business, including conservative 2025 guidance despite 12% year-over-year bookings growth, higher post-acquisition AI compute and marketing costs tied to Base44, and concerns that competing AI tools were outpacing Wix’s products. It also cites Wix’s May 13, 2026 earnings release and call, when the company reported first-quarter 2026 earnings and revenue below consensus expectations, disclosed a sharp decline in operating margins linked largely to softness in its professional developer business, and acknowledged that professional developers were using competing AI tools while Wix Harmony still had "holes" and "missing capabilities." Investors seeking appointment as Lead Plaintiff have until September 22, 2026.
