Celltrion said it is expanding in Europe after securing additional biosimilar supply contracts in Spain and Portugal, with the company expecting faster regional revenue growth as second-half deliveries scale up. In Spain, Omlyclo, a biosimilar of Novartis's Xolair for chronic spontaneous urticaria and allergic asthma, was selected in first-half tenders by Catalonia, the Basque Country, Asturias and Valencia, while growing hospital prescriptions lifted its estimated local market share above 90% as of June. Aptozma, a tocilizumab treatment, also won successive tenders from INGESA and major regional governments, giving it a majority share of the Spanish market by the second quarter. In Portugal, national tenders awarded Celltrion's autoimmune portfolio of Remsima, Yuflyma and Steqeyma, alongside Omlyclo and Eydenzelt, with supply already under way and set to continue through the second half. Celltrion said differentiated features such as Omlyclo's 150mg auto-injector, longer shelf life and room-temperature stability data, and Aptozma's 400mg formulation, together with its direct sales network and the cost-saving case for biosimilar conversion, supported the wins.
