Homeplus said it will return 67 temporarily closed stores across South Korea to normal operations on Aug. 13 after completing final inspections, with online delivery resuming at 59 of those outlets. The reopening follows soft openings that began on the 7th to test store operations and product displays. The retailer is pairing the restart with online and in-store promotions through the end of the month, including up to 50% off hanwoo (premium Korean beef) for My Homeplus members, discounted fried chicken and lower-priced pork, alongside broader markdowns and buy-one-get-one offers across food categories.
