Crypto.com has launched Tokenized Stocks in the Crypto.com App, offering eligible users in the European Economic Area and other approved jurisdictions round-the-clock, fractional exposure from as little as $1 to about 1,500 U.S. equities and ETFs, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and commodity-linked funds such as SPDR Gold Shares and iShares Silver Trust. The instruments are derivative financial products designed to track underlying prices rather than confer legal ownership or voting rights, though dividend-equivalent adjustments may apply under the product terms. Crypto.com said the underlying assets are held in custody with Alpaca, a U.S.-regulated self-clearing broker-dealer that it said supports more than 90% of the tokenized U.S. stocks and ETF market, and that the product also offers fast settlement. The launch extends Crypto.com’s push into regulated financial products in Europe through Foris Capital CY Limited, the entity behind Crypto.com’s regulated investment services in Europe, following Crypto.com’s May 2025 acquisition of the Cyprus-based firm and its MiFID license, and comes as Binance, Kraken, Backpack, Bybit, Bitget and Robinhood expand similar offerings outside the United States. For a limited introductory period, eligible users will be able to trade the product commission-free, though FX charges or spreads may still apply.
