AI infrastructure stocks rallied after CoreWeave and Super Micro Computer issued upbeat updates and Jim Cramer said the AI data center trade was retaking market leadership. CoreWeave rose more than 18% in premarket trading and was up 19.02% at the U.S. open after reporting second-quarter revenue of $2.58 billion, up 112% year over year, a $104.2 billion backlog, 1.5 gigawatts of active power and higher full-year guidance; its third-quarter outlook implied roughly 158% growth at the midpoint. Super Micro gained nearly 9% premarket and 8.52% at the open after forecasting 2027 revenue above Wall Street estimates and reporting fourth-quarter gross margin of 17.5%, above both its preliminary 15%-17% range and its initial 8.2%-8.4% forecast. Nebius rose 34% on Wednesday, and Cramer said six AI data center stocks had reclaimed market leadership, with all six higher on the session and ahead of the S&P 500 this year, though still below their 2026 peaks. Related gains spread to Applied Digital, IREN, Astera Labs, Marvell, Oracle, Micron Technology, Western Digital, Seagate and Sandisk, while softer July U.S. inflation supported broader risk appetite.
