Binance and RedotPay are publicly at odds over the status of related proceedings in Singapore tied to a broader Hong Kong legal battle worth nearly $473 million. RedotPay, a stablecoin payments card issuer, said after an Aug. 7 hearing that it expects Binance to discontinue the Singapore matter and plans to seek legal costs from the claimant. Binance disputed that account, saying reports it will withdraw its Singapore claims are false and that it has informed both the court and RedotPay that it is not abandoning them. The fight is part of a wider case brought by Binance-affiliated companies in Hong Kong, where plaintiffs allege RedotPay diverted more than 470,000 Binance Card users by enabling Binance Pay funds to be used for stablecoin card top-ups outside a commercial agreement. The Hong Kong plaintiffs put damages at $472.8 million, based on an estimated lifetime customer value of $925 per user. Bloomberg also reported the Hong Kong filing alleges about $304 million moved from Binance Pay into RedotPay’s ecosystem through the arrangement. RedotPay has rejected the allegations as unfounded and said it will contest them through the legal process. The companies had previously worked together: RedotPay announced a Binance Pay partnership in December 2023, and Binance ended support for that integration on April 3, 2026, citing a review of merchant partners before the dispute became public.
