Scienture launches Rezenopy 10 mg naloxone spray across U.S.

Scienture Holdings has begun the U.S. commercial rollout of Rezenopy, a 10-milligram naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray, after fulfilling initial orders to pharmaceutical wholesalers nationwide. The single-use product is described as the highest-dose naloxone nasal spray approved for the U.S. market and is aimed at overdose emergencies involving highly potent synthetic opioids. The launch expands Scienture’s federally approved product portfolio and places it in a naloxone market that generated about $143 million in annual revenue from 9.8 million units through June 2026. To support the launch, the company has built a specialized national sales force focused on hospitals, pharmacies, rehabilitation facilities, public health agencies and emergency medical services. Scienture said commercial payer coverage could extend to more than 100 million individuals, while Group Purchasing Organization agreements could open access to over 5,000 healthcare locations and potentially more than 60% of the domestic institutional naloxone market. The commercialization follows a March 2025 deal giving a Scienture subsidiary exclusive U.S. rights from Summit Biosciences Inc., a unit of Kindeva, for a product that received regulatory clearance in April 2024. In June, the company announced a U.S. patent for Rezenopy expiring on February 5, 2041. Scienture also raised $11 million in non-dilutive debt financing in May to support commercialization of its two FDA-approved products and pipeline execution. Shares of Scienture were down 3.03% at $0.39 in premarket trading on Wednesday.
