Ripple has voted in favor of the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment, taking support to 8 of 35 validators on the default Unique Node List as XRP Ledger 3.3.0 begins moving through the network’s governance process. The package groups fixes for Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, Automated Market Makers, the permissioned DEX, Checks and pseudo-accounts, but it remains well short of the activation threshold. The amendment must secure support from more than 80% of trusted validators, or at least 29 of 35, for two consecutive weeks before it can take effect on mainnet, and no activation date has been set. Version 3.3.0, released on Aug. 6, also contains five separate feature amendments: ConfidentialTransfer, BatchV1_1, DynamicMPT, PermissionDelegationV1_1 and Sponsor. Installing the software does not activate any proposal, but node operators have been urged to upgrade so their servers do not become amendment-blocked if a measure passes. The release also retires Clawback, fixDisallowIncomingV1, fixInnerObjTemplate, fixNFTokenReserve and fixUniversalNumber, while adding changes to node synchronization, online deletion, ledger-delta assembly, subscription cleanup, test coverage, the C++23 standard and server shutdown settings. XRP traded near $1.06 at publication, up almost 3% over 24 hours with volume about 16% higher, while derivatives data showed mixed positioning: total futures open interest slipped more than 0.65% within an hour after moving above $2.70 billion, CME open interest rose 1.31% over 24 hours, and Binance, OKX, Bybit and other crypto exchanges posted declines.
