SKALE Labs has launched Agent Pit, a paper-trading prediction-market sandbox on SKALE's zero-gas blockchain that lets developers and AI agents train and test strategies in a Polymarket-like environment without risking real funds. Announced on Aug. 12, the platform mirrors Polymarket's order book, settlement mechanism, price discovery and real-time event feeds, and SKALE says users can fine-tune models, join simulated return-on-investment leaderboard competitions and then move trained agents into live markets. SKALE described Agent Pit as the first product from its Agentic Venture Studio, with Chief Executive Officer Jack O'Holleran framing it as a response to demand for agent-focused prediction-market training infrastructure. The launch also marks a broader push by SKALE into AI and machine learning, as developers, academic researchers and quantitative traders look for higher-fidelity simulations than historical backtesting or simplified sandboxes, even though strategies trained in simulation may still need adjustment for the liquidity and behavioral pressures of live markets.
