Foods Connected has acquired HarvestMark Quality Insights from iFoodDS, adding a food quality inspection and insights product and team to its broader supply chain software platform. The deal brings more than a decade of quality inspection expertise into Foods Connected's offering across supplier compliance, auditing, food safety, product lifecycle management, specifications and procurement, and strengthens its presence in the United States and Australia alongside its operations in the UK and Europe. iFoodDS said the transaction sharpens its focus on Trace Exchange, its traceability platform, as food companies face rising pressure to improve supply chain visibility, food safety, resilience and compliance. Quality Insights customers will transition to Foods Connected support, while iFoodDS said it will keep investing in network growth, customer success, product development and ecosystem partnerships around Trace Exchange.
