Cashi has started a public beta for its stablecoin payments app and Visa card programme, now live in Hong Kong with issuer processing from Thredd. Users can deposit USDT or USDC, hold balances in stablecoins until the moment of purchase, and spend through a virtual Visa card online, in stores and via Google Pay. Cashi said the programme includes cashback rewards and is aimed at everyday spending such as groceries, subscriptions, online shopping and travel. The company plans to expand into Mexico in late 2026, where it intends to add physical cards and Apple Pay support.
