LPL Financial LLC wrapped up its Focus 2026 conference in San Diego by stressing that scale, research and an integrated platform can help advisory firms grow more efficiently without losing flexibility or a personalized client experience. The closing sessions centered on AI-powered workflows, service modernization and broader investment capabilities, which President and Chief Financial Officer Matt Audette said are intended to simplify operations with real-time information and clearer service-request tracking for the 10,000 clients and partners attending. Chief Investment Officer Marc Zabicki said LPL Research is positioning itself as an extension of client businesses through market outlook, portfolio construction and investment guidance, while Chief Growth Officer Marc Cohen said the platform is built for independent advisors, bank and credit union programs, RIA (registered investment adviser) firms and employee models rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. LPL said it supports more than 32,000 financial advisors, the wealth management practices of approximately 1,100 financial institutions and approximately $2.6 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets on behalf of approximately 8 million Americans.
